What Is #1MFollowersChallenge And How You Can Help A Great Cause?

Spread the love
A well-known saying is attributed to the Ghanaian scholar Dr. James Emmanuel Kwegyir-Aggrey (1875-1927) which everyone has come across at some point of time.

If you educate a man you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman you educate a family (nation).

Despite many of us believing that gender equality is a must for the society, it is yet to be fully accepted and implemented. When women learn something they have a tendency to share it with their family and friends. In rural parts of the country girls are not allowed to go to school because their family is worried about physical abuse.

Women generally tend to share the mobile phones of their husbands or kids. Educating a women increases the socioeconomic status of the family. There are other advantages like family planning, hygiene awareness and avoiding child marriage.

I have taken #1MFollowersChallenge to make at least 1 Million people aware and support #GirlsNeedEducation. All the money gathered through this campaign will be used to help educate girls and create a better society. Only 500$ are needed per year as school fees for a girl child. You can support by sharing about this campaign to others. If someone is willing to come forward and help us in any way we would be really thankful for it. Looking for sponsors to come forward and support #1MFollowersChallenge and #GirlsNeedEducation.
